Party
Terms of Use
Last updated 2026-10-11
Draft. This text describes how Party works but has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet legally binding in this form.
These terms govern your use of Party. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Party provides tools to create events, invite guests, manage guest lists and issue and scan entry tickets. Party is not the organiser of events hosted by users or organisations and is not a party to arrangements between hosts and guests.
Your account
- You must be at least 18.
- Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
Hosting
- You are responsible for your event, its safety, and compliance with the law, including age limits, noise, capacity and licensing rules.
- Only publish events you actually intend to hold. Do not misrepresent the venue, the organiser or the nature of the event.
- A “verified” badge is granted and revoked by Party alone and only confirms the checks described in the app.
Tickets and entry
- Free tickets are personal entry credentials. One ticket admits one person once.
- Hosts and venues may refuse entry in accordance with the law and their house rules, including after an ID check.
- A cancelled event voids its tickets.
Acceptable use
The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. We may remove content, cancel events or restrict accounts that violate them.
Paid tickets
Paid ticketing is not available yet. When it is introduced, additional terms will apply.
Liability
[To be drafted by counsel: limitation of liability within the limits of Swiss law.]
Changes and termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes in the app.
Law and venue
[To be completed by counsel: governing law Switzerland; place of jurisdiction.]
