Party
Safety

Draft. This text describes how Party works but has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet legally binding in this form.
If someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency services first. Party is not an emergency service.
Emergency numbers in Switzerland
- 112 — European emergency number
- 117 — Police
- 144 — Ambulance
- 118 — Fire service
- 145 — Poisoning (Tox Info Suisse)
- 143 — Die Dargebotene Hand (someone to talk to)
Before you go
- Check who is hosting. A verified badge means Party checked the organiser; no badge means we did not.
- Tell a friend where you are going. Private addresses are shared only with confirmed guests — treat them with care.
- Bring ID. An in-app age confirmation never replaces a check at the door.
Reporting
You can report an event, a person, a message or a photo from the menu on each of them in the app. Reports are confidential: the person you report is not told who reported them. A member of the Party team reviews every report.
Blocking
Block someone from their profile. They can no longer see your profile or your events, invite you or add you, and they are not notified.
For hosts
- Use “Approve guests yourself” for anything at a private home.
- Release the address only shortly before the event.
- Give door staff the scanner role instead of sharing your account.
- Remove a guest from the list to cancel their ticket immediately.
