Delete your account

You can delete your Party account yourself at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and no need to contact anyone.

In the app

Open Party › You › Settings › Delete account, and confirm twice.

Here, without the app

Sign in below with the email address of your account and confirm.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, username, photo, bio, interests and your saved location.
• Your sign-in: email address and password.
• Your RSVPs, tickets and saved events. Tickets you paid for are lost with them and are not refunded.
• Messages and photos you posted in events.
• Your friends, follows and blocks.
• Events you host: they are cancelled and your guests are told. Everyone who paid for a ticket is refunded in full.

What is kept

• Counts that contain no link to you (for example how many people attended an event).
• Records of payments (amount, date, the payment provider’s reference), as the law requires — without your profile.
• Records of safety-relevant actions (for example a moderation decision), without your identity.
• Backups are overwritten on their normal schedule.
