Tickets and invitations

Where is my ticket? In the app: You › Your tickets. Without the app: open Your tickets and sign in with the email you used for the guest list.

I can’t see the address. For private events the address is shown once the host confirmed you, and sometimes only shortly before the event starts.

My request is still pending. The host decides. You get a notification in the app and the event page updates by itself.

The event says “Tickets at Eventfrog”. That event is not run on Party. Party lists it and links to where it is booked; tickets, changes and refunds are handled by the organiser there.

An invitation link doesn’t work. Links can expire or be used up. Ask the host for a new one.

I paid but have no ticket. The ticket appears as soon as the payment is confirmed — usually within seconds, with some banks a few minutes. If the last place went while you were paying, the money is returned automatically. Still nothing after an hour? Write to us with the email address of your account.

Can I get my money back? If the event is cancelled you are refunded in full automatically. Otherwise the host decides: message them in the event chat. Refunds take a few working days to reach your card. All the rules: Tickets, refunds and cancellations.

Hosting

How do I create a party? In the app, tap the + button, give it a name, a time and a place, choose who can come, and publish. You can share the invitation link straight away.

Who sees my address? For invite-only and friends events only the guests you confirmed and your team — never the public.

How do I check people in? In the app: your event › Scan tickets. You can add door staff under Team; they only get the scanner.

Can I manage guests in a browser? Yes: Host shows your events, requests and guest lists.

How do I charge for entry? For hosts in 41 countries (most of Europe, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico, Thailand): in the app, You › Settings › Payouts. Stripe checks your identity and bank account once; after that you set an entry price when you create an event. Party keeps 5 % of the price plus a fixed amount per ticket in your payout currency (CHF 0.50 in Switzerland, €0.50 in the euro area, £0.40 in the UK; the exact amount is shown before you set the price), card fees included. Your share is paid out to your bank account seven days after the event, if no refund or dispute is open.

How do I refund a guest? In the app: your event › Manage › Ticket sales, tap the sale. If you cancel the event, everyone is refunded automatically.

Account

I didn’t get the email with my code. Check the spam folder and that the address is spelled correctly, wait a minute, then ask for a new code. Codes expire after one hour.

I forgot my password. On the sign-in screen tap “Forgot password?”. You get a 6-digit code by email to set a new one.

How do I delete my account? In the app: You › Settings › Delete account — or on the web at Delete your account. It is immediate and permanent.

How do I get a copy of my data? In the app: You › Settings › Export my data.

Location and the map

Do I have to share my location? No. Search for any town or postal code instead. Location is only used while the app is open and is never shown to other people.

The app shows the wrong area. Tap the place name at the top of Tonight or Discover to choose another place, or widen the radius under Filters.

The map is empty. Check your connection, widen the radius, or clear the date and category filters.

Safety and reporting

How do I report something? Use the ··· menu on an event, profile, message or photo. Reports are reviewed by a person.

How do I block someone? Open their profile › ··· › Block. They can no longer see your profile or your plans. Manage blocks under You › Settings › Blocked people.

See the Community Guidelines and Safety.

Organisations and venues

How do I get my organisation verified? In the app: You › Organisations › your organisation › Apply for verification.

My venue is listed as “unclaimed”. Create an organisation in the app and write to support with the venue’s name so we can hand the listing to you after a check.
